Our intention is to inspire, motivate and evoke feelings of well-being through pleasantly scented soy candles and other home fragrance consumables. Each and every one of our candles are hand-poured in small batches and handcrafted with precision. We craft our candles with 100% pure domestically grown soy wax, the best quality essential and phthalate free fragrance oils, and all natural lead and zinc free cotton wicks to ensure a clean burn. Our candles are nontoxic - free from dyes, carcinogens and pollutants. Also, our candles are Eco and vegan-friendly so that they may be enjoyed with meaningful purpose.
Our story is one of heritage, love, being proud of our roots and paying homage to it. The name Sophie Rose gives honor to the founder's Southern Grandparents – her grandfather Sophie and her grandmother Margaret who had an affinity for roses. Our initial collection was inspired by the memorable scents they created by making Peach Preserves, sipping Sweet Tea, serving Cream Coffee with breakfast, etc. We also feature classic Southern scents such as Honeysuckle + Jasmine and Pineapple + Sage.
We have since expanded to include our curated Signature Collection which features fragrances such as Amber Moss + Teakwood™ and Mint Eucalyptus + Grassy Lemon™ that are exclusive to the Sophie Rose Candle Co. brand.
Sophie Rose Candle Co. began on my journey to holistic health and an unwillingness to kick my candle addiction. After amassing an extensive collection, I was unable to enjoy the candles due to the overbearing, headache inducing fragrances. The typical candles on the market are loaded with carcinogens, chemically-laced fragrance oils, toxic metal core wicks, and paraffin wax which is a byproduct of crude oil. Armed with this information and my personal love for candles along with the need to keep my space safe and free from toxins, I curated my first line of Eco-Luxe nontoxic candles.
